On June 8, the 8th Intercultural Sharing Economy Festival was successfully held at Seonbu Plaza near Seonbu Station in Ansan, 

hosted by the Migrant Citizens' Solidarity Social Cooperative.

The event was honored by the presence of many distinguished guests, including National Assembly Member Park Hae Cheol of the Democratic Party of Korea, 

Gyeonggi Provincial Council Member Kim Cheol Jin, Ansan City Council Members Song Ba Woo Na, Lee Jin Bun, and Hwang Eun Hwa, 

the Director of Operations from the Ministry of Justice, representatives from Danwon Police Station, Seonbu 2-dong Community Service Center, 

and a Regional Special Advisor from the office of National Assembly Member Yong Hye In.

The festival opened with a special performance by Ivorian singer ZOOM C, followed by the opening ceremony, welcoming remarks, 

guest introductions, congratulatory speeches, and a commemorative photo session.

The celebration continued with a variety of cultural performances by the Pearl of the Orient Dance Team of Filipino migrant women, 

the Dreaming Together Choir, Zion International Intercultural Alternative School, the Korean Traditional Music Division of the Ansan Arts Association, 

Dance Company, New World Dance Company, Sejong Taekwondo, and Jane Grand Ballet Company, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

A total of 24 participating groups operated 44 booths, bringing together various organizations and institutions to host sharing-market activities 

and community programs.

Visitors enjoyed a wide range of activities, including coffee sharing, book and household goods sharing, eco-friendly experience programs, 

free legal and tax consultations, agricultural product sales, board games and soccer experiences, humanities lectures, 

and food sharing featuring cuisines from the Philippines, Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Korea.

The festival provided a meaningful opportunity for citizens to share cultures and experiences while embracing 

the values of intercultural understanding, cooperation, and community sharing.
